St Bart’s provides short to medium-term accommodation for adults with persistent mental health challenges who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We provide this recovery focused and trauma-informed service at our onsite supported Community Recovery Villages and Accommodation Units.

Community Recovery Villages

We have four Community Recovery Villages across the Perth metropolitan area. Each village features individual and shared units and can accommodate up to 25 people at any given time who require a low level of support to live independently in the community.

This service offers a community-based, home-like environment with 24/7 onsite support available.

Support staff partner with residents to help them determine their goals and map their recovery journey. This may include maintaining their mental wellbeing, building confidence and social networks, developing independent living skills, and securing longer-term accommodation.

Accommodation Units

We have three Accommodation Units across Perth that are available as short-term, community based transitional or respite housing for adults living with a mental health illness who require a low level of support to live independently in the community. Each unit can accommodate up to six people at any given time.

Support staff partner with residents to maintain their mental wellbeing, determine their goals, develop a plan that assists with their recovery journey, and chart a course to securing appropriate longer-term accommodation.

Note: This service does not provide a 24/7 support person.
